Is it down for everyone, or just me?

Enter a website and we'll check it from our servers right now: whether it answers, the status code and how fast it responds.

Good to know

It says up, but it isn't working for me
Then the problem is probably between you and the site: your Wi-Fi or mobile data, your DNS, a VPN or browser extension, or your country or network blocking it. Try another network or device, or clear your DNS cache.
Why does a 403 or 429 count as up?
Big sites often refuse automated checks like ours (403 Forbidden) or limit them (429 Too Many Requests). They still answered, so the site is online. Only server errors (5xx) and no answer at all count as down.
Where do the checks run from?
From our own servers. A site can be down in one region and up in another, so “down” means we couldn't reach it from here.
