Delete your account
Last updated October 9, 2026
You can delete your Spot Downtime account yourself at any time, from the website or the mobile app. Deletion is immediate and can't be undone.
1. How to delete your account
On the website: sign in, open Settings, and choose Delete account. Type your email address to confirm.
In the app (iPhone or Android): open the Settings tab and tap Delete account, then type your email address to confirm.
If you're the only owner of a workspace that has other members, make one of them an owner first (under Team), or delete that workspace. This keeps your teammates from losing their monitors.
2. What is deleted
- Your account, sign-in details and profile.
- Every workspace only you belong to, with its monitors, check history, incidents, alert channels, status pages and their subscribers.
- Paid subscriptions on those workspaces, which are cancelled straight away so you're not charged again.
- Your membership of workspaces you share with others. They keep the workspace and its data.
- The push notification tokens of your devices.
3. What we keep
Billing records (invoices and payment references) are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Messages you sent us through the contact form are kept as long as needed to handle them. Comments you posted on public "Is it down?" pages stay, without the link to your account.
See our privacy policy for details.
4. Can't sign in?
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.
